Extended Table 1. Expression of histone variants in cardiac cultures on cultured on soft or stiff substrates.

Embryonic cardiac cells were plated on soft (13 kPa) or stiff (140 kPa) PDMS for four days after which total RNA was harvested to perform RNAseq analysis. Averaged expression (FPKM: Fragments Per Kilobase of transcript per Million mapped reads) for each substrate group, as well as fold changes and p-values between substrates, of previously annotated mouse histone variants91 are shown; * indicates canonical (generic) H1 variants.
