Example case studies (see Table 2, and Supplementary material for full description of the case studies and references) showing emerging synergies or trade‐offs between biodiversity conservation, climate change mitigation and nature's contributions to people (NCP). For each case study, five pieces of information are color‐coded in a pie chart regarding the impacts of biodiversity conservation measures on: biodiversity, climate change mitigation, regulating, material and non‐material NCP. None of the biodiversity measures implemented in the case studies resulted in negative impacts (indicated in orange), despite the fact that we had considered such negative impacts as possible in our assessment.
