Schematic presentation of major steps of orthotopic transplantation of PDAC cell lines into mouse pancreas
On the day of the transplantation, mouse PDAC cells are harvested, washed, counted, and resuspended to obtain a desirable concentration. Cells are mixed with Matrigel in equal ratios and 20 μL of the mix is injected into the pancreas of the recipient mouse.
