A general scheme of the present study: (1) Pregnant females were exposed to gamma radiation (1 Gy dose) on prenatal days 13, 15, 17, or 19 (E13–E19, respectively); (2) EEG teletransmitters were implanted in 55‐day‐old male offspring (P55) of the irradiated females. (3) After a 2‐week recovery period, EEG recordings were performed 2 days before (P70–71) and 3 days after (P72–74) pilocarpine‐induced seizures, and three 6 h‐lasting samples from the periods before, during, and after seizure induction were taken for analysis. (4) After the EEG recordings, perfusion‐fixation of the rats was performed
