This sign near the front road entrance to Sunspot, New Mexico was a summer-student prank at Sac Peak in the 1970s. It identified the sewage treatment plant on the outskirts of Sunspot as Penumbra, New Mexico. I used this photo in my take-off on Ron Moore’s Neighborhood meeting talk on “The Structure of the Penumbra”.
