β‐arrestin2 binding is affected by the phosphorylation pattern of the CB1R C‐tail. SGIP1 enhances the association of CB1R‐β‐arrestin2 in cases the mutant receptors interact with β‐arrestin2. HEK293 cells were transiently co‐transfected with the CB1R‐YFP variants, β‐arrestin2‐Rluc, and empty vector/SGIP1‐mCherry (2:1:2 ratio). Cells were stimulated by 1 μM WIN.
