Cinnamon extract (CE) regulates Acyl-CoA synthetase long-chain family 1 (ACSL1) mRNA and protein expression in a time-dependent manner in 3T3-L1 adipocytes. 3T3-L1 adipocytes were serum-starved for 8 h in DMEM and then treated with 30 μg/mL of CE for 0.5–16 h. (a) Real-time PCR was employed to determine ACSL1 mRNA expression. (b) The levels of ACSL1 protein expression were measured via western blotting.
