Three‐dimensional reconstruction of CLSM scans of 16S rRNA FISH‐labelled biofilm cells in cocultures of 3 species isolated from infected root canals. Streptococcus gordonii cells bind to probe STR405 (green fluorescence) and were detected by Ar‐laser excitation (480 nm).
