Noise-optimized virtual monoenergetic imaging (VMI+) series at 40 keV (A) show higher vascular attenuation of the portal vein and a better delineation of the thrombus compared to 60 keV VMI+ (B), 60 keV VMI (C), and standard linearly blended M_0.6 images (D).
