HDAC2 overexpression suppressed miR-148a expression. (A) MCF7 and MDA-MB-231 cells were treated with TSA or DMSO for 72 h. The expression levels of miR-148a were detected by qRT-PCR. (B) The correlations between miR-148a and histone acetylation modification-related proteins were analyzed (correlation: Pearson). (C,D) HDAC2 overexpression plasmid or HDAC2 siRNA were transfected into MCF7 and MDA-MB-231. After 48 h, miR-148a expression levels were detected in HDAC2 overexpression (C) or inhibition (D) groups by qRT-PCR. HDAC2 expression levels were detected by Western blotting.
