TB = tuberculosis.

These criteria apply regardless of previous bacille Calmette-Guérin immunization. Erythema alone at a tuberculin skin test site does not indicate a positive test result, rather the induration should be measured in millimeters. Tests should be read at 48 to 72 hours after placement.
