Cortical mean thickness, area, tissue mineral density (TMD), BMD and BVF are shown (F–J). TNAP−/−/ENPP1+/+ mice are diminished in trabecular thickness and mineral density with increased trabecular number and no difference in bone volume fraction as compared to TNAP+/+/ENPP1+/+ mice. TNAP−/−/ENPP1−/− mice are diminished in trabecular thickness, number and bone volume fraction and have increased trabecular spacing compared to TNAP+/+/ENPP1+/+ mice.
