The mean absolute error (MAE) between the observed and predicted data is shown for each model. Dots, white triangles, and crosses represent the MAE values for the age groups 0–17 years, 18–64 years, and 65 years or older, respectively. The MAE was calculated by dividing the absolute difference between the observed and predicted values by the number of data points for each identical wet-bulb globe temperature (WBGT) value.
