Figure 1. Panel A shows Kaplan-Meier curves of proportion surviving in the two groups. Insert shows survival on an expanded scale. Patients discharged from the hospital were considered to have survived at least 35 days. Curves are not statistically significantly different (p=0.44 by the log-rank test). Panel B shows a specific number of patients with and without a GI bleed on days 0, 7, 14, 21, 28, and 35, respectively.
