Inhibition percentage of selected flavonoids against SARS‐CoV‐2 S protein compared to remdesivir. The inhibition percentage of eriodictyol, myricetin, and silibinin flavonoids to the binding of S protein to ACE‐2 receptor was screened at 15 μg/ml compared to remdesivir at its IC50 (2.5 μg/ml). The data was analyzed using one‐way ANOVA and statistical significance was calculated with Dunnett's multiple comparisons test and significance level indicated by asterisks (*p < 0.05; **p < 0.01: ***p < 0.001; ****p < 0.0001). The data display the mean ± SEM of three independent replicates. p‐value <0.05 was considered as significant
