GFPA suppressed hyperlipidemia in mice with DIO. Eight weeks of GFPA administration decreased the concentrations of (A) TGs, (B) TC and (C) LDL-C and increased the concentration of (D) HDL-C in the sera of HFD-fed mice. Eight weeks of GFPA administration decreased the concentrations of (E) TGs, (F) TC and (G) LDL-C and increased the concentration of (H) HDL-C in the livers of HFD-fed mice. Data are expressed as means ± S.E.M. (n = 6). # p < 0.05, ## p < 0.01 and ### p < 0.001 versus NCD-fed mice; *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01 and ***p < 0.001 versus HFD-fed mice. Pathological alterations in (I) eWAT, (J) iWAT and (K) pWAT were evaluated by H&E staining (magnification: 200×; scale bar: 50 μm). The black arrow indicates the inflammatory infiltration of lymphocytes in HFD-fed mice.
