The growth of well-watered and waterlogged banana plants was measured in terms of (A) total root length, (B) root-to-shoot (R/S) dry weight (DW) ratio, and (C) leaf area differences. (D) The effect of waterlogging on relative water content (RWC) was assessed between well-watered and waterlogged leaf samples. Data are presented as means ± standard error from nine independent biological replicates.
