Their figures explain the fabrication of the ICC scaffolds (a) as well as how cell seeding was achieved (b). SEM imaging of the scaffold shows that the structure indeed looks like the schematic in figure (c) and immuno-fluorecence imaging is used to visualize how cells are binding and growing within the structure (d).
