The characteristics of circADAMTS6 in ESCC cells. (A) circADAMTS6 is formed by reverse splicing of exons 2–7 in the ADAMTS6 gene. (B) The existence of circADAMTS6 in ESCC cell and tissue was confirmed. CircADAMTS6 was only amplified by divergent primers in cDNA but not in gDNA. GAPDH was acted as a linear RNA control. Divergent primers or convergent primers were indicated by the opposite or the same directions of the arrowhead. (C) RT-PCR assessed the expression levels of circADAMTS6 and linear mRNA upon RNase R treatment in ESCC cells and tissues.
