Per-nodal analysis in patients diagnosed with solid-organ malignancy, sarcoidosis, and lymphoma. For each patient, more than 1 lymph node was biopsied and thus the total nodes analyzed for specimen quality exceed the total number of patients. Each node was scored 0 to 2 using 4 criteria to determine quality: the amount of cellular material, background blood, degree of cellular degeneration and trauma, and the retention of normal architecture. Higher scores indicate higher specimen quality. The whiskers indicate the 95% confidence interval (CI). Circles and squares indicate TBNA and ca-TBFB, respectively.
