FIGURE 1

Results of the Morris water maze (MWM) tests in each group (n = 10, mean ± SD). (A,B) Comparison between the swimming speed and escape latency of all groups in the hidden platform trial. (C) Comparison between the platform crossover numbers of all groups in the probe trial. A two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) with repeated measures, followed by the LSD multiple-range test, was used with an exception when comparing the platform crossover numbers, which was analyzed by using the Kruskal–Wallis test. LSD-t and chi-square are presented in Supplementary Tables 1, 2. P < 0.01 or P < 0.05 compared with the C57BL/6 control (Cc) group, P < 0.01 or P < 0.05 compared with the APP/PS1 control (Ac) group, P < 0.01 or P < 0.05 compared with the APP/PS1 antibiotic + manual acupuncture (Aa) group. (D) Swimming trace of all groups.
