^b PAL was estimated from DLW total daily energy expenditure divided by resting metabolic rate. Resting metabolic rate was predicted on the basis of age, sex, height, and weight as described by Mifflin et al. (28).

Total activity was based on total activity counts per day; accelerometer measures of MVPA, vigorous, and moderate activity included ≥1-minute bouts; sedentary time was based on ≥15-minute bouts. Values from accelerometry were adjusted for age (years) and accelerometer wear time (hours/day).
