For associations of corticosteroids with outcome measure, the variables, including age (per 1-year increase), sex, obesity, hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, chronic lung disease, smoking, length of stay in hospital (per 1-day increase), and number of initial symptoms (per one-symptom increase), were all included in the models.
