Chloroquine (CQ) amplifies high-dose cisplatin (CIS)-induced endoplasmic reticulum stress and cell death, whereas 3-methyladenine (3-MA) has no effect. Western blot analysis was performed to assess relative protein levels of the indicated proteins in the renal cortex of mice treated with 20 mg/kg CIS and either CQ (A) or 3-MA (E).
