Effects of CB₁ receptor ligands on the acute regulation of small intestinal permeability in chow-fed mice. Measurement of the flux of 4-kDa FITC-dextran over time across the jejunum (A and C) and ileum (B and D) relative to vehicle (1% Tween 80 and 2% DMSO in Krebs solution) of male CD1 mice fed a standard chow diet following acute treatment in Ussing chambers with the CB₁/CB₂ receptor agonist CP55,940 (A and B) or the CB₁ neutral antagonist AM6545 (C and D). No significant differences were observed. Data are log₁₀-transformed and shown as mean ± SE, n = 4–5/group.
