Effects of a CB₁ receptor agonist and antagonist on the acute regulation of short-circuit current in 2-wk high-fat diet (HFD)-fed mice. Measurement of short-circuit current (I_sc) changes over time in the jejunum (A and C) and ileum (B and D) relative to vehicle (1% Tween 80 and 2% DMSO in Krebs solution) of male CD1 mice fed a HFD for 2 wk after acute treatment in Ussing chambers with the CB₁/CB₂ receptor agonist CP55,940 (A and B) or the CB₁ receptor antagonist AM6545 (C and D).
