Fig. 8 — Efficiency of DsiRNA-mediated transfection of SIM-A9 cells. Qualitative evaluation of the transfection protocol shows fluorescence of cells transfected with TYE 563-tagged DsiRNA (a) as opposed to untransfected cells (b), which do not manifest any discernable fluorescence. Efficiency of transfection was gauged by quantitative measurement of HPRT mRNA expression, following transduction of cells with the positive control HPRT-targeting DsiRNA (c). Silencing of Nrf2 was similarly confirmed by qPCR (d), following transfection of Nrf2-targeting DsiRNAs into cells. Data is expressed as means ± SEM.
