aNegative control samples from mice that do not carry the AppNL-F allele and do not produce human Aβ were assayed by 6E10 MSD assay alongside samples homozygous for the AppNL-F allele and which do produce human Aβ. The epitope for 6E10 lies within the region of sequence difference between human and mouse Aβ; the antibody is against the human sequence. In some cases, as indicated, all samples without an AppNL-F allele were below the limit of detection for the assay; thus, mean and SDs are not available (NA).
