Alcohol drinking showed a positive correlation between both GABA (r(9) = 0.7662, p = 0.0060) and glutamine concentration (r(9) = 0.7497, p = 0.0079) as measured by magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) (n = 6 NVHL, 5 sham). Individual data points are denoted with a (+) Sham or (x) NVHL.
