Cell viability was examined by the PB assay. (A) SH-SY5Y cells were exposed to the raw cocoa extract in the range of 1–50 µg/mL. (B) 6-OHDA EC50 was calculated using GraphPad Prism 8.0 software by nonlinear regression of dose-response inhibition. (C) Neuroprotective effect of the cocoa raw extract against 6-OHDA-induced cytotoxicity. The viability variations were calculated as percentage of viable cells in treated cultures compared to untreated ones. Results are showed as mean ± standard deviation (SD) from three independent experiments. #, ## and ### denote respectively p < 0.05, p < 0.01 and p < 0.001 vs. Ctrl; **, *** denote respectively p < 0.01 and p < 0.001 vs. 6-OHDA.
