Acute ASF post-mortem examination [7]. (A) Severe hemorrhagic splenomegaly observed at the opening of the abdominal cavity of an animal with acute ASF. The liver is severely congested. (B) Very large, dark-colored spleen with rounded edges (hemorrhagic splenomegaly), occupying a large volume of the abdominal cavity in acute ASF.
