Effect of NaCl treatment on steady-state levels of ABI4-eGFP transcript and protein in the roots. Ten-day-old seedlings transformed with the 35S::HA₃-FLAG₃-ABI4-eGFP construct were transferred onto a filter paper soaked with 0.5 × MS salts, 0.5% sucrose with or without 0.3 M NaCl. Roots were harvested at the indicated times, and the levels of HA₃-FLAG₃-ABI4-eGFP transcript (blue) or protein (red) were determined by RT-qPCR and fluorescence microscopy, respectively.
