Cells were seeded on 96-well plates and treated with several concentrations of nanoparticles for various time periods. Cells were washed and thereafter incubated with a CCK-8 substrate. After 60 minutes, the absorbance was measured at λ = 450 nm. Untreated cells (Ctrl) were set to 100% viability. No cytotoxic effects were observed neither short term (4 h) (top) nor long-term up to 72 h (bottom).
