Outcomes |
Outcome relating to the implementation of childcare service policies, practices or programme At baseline and follow‐up, an experienced dietitian will use the assessment of nutrition quality (above) to calculate the proportion of 'Everyday' items, 'Occasional' items and 'Should Not Be Sold' items within each menu, to compare against the 'NSW Healthy School Canteen Strategy: Food and Drink Criteria' which state that ≥ 75% of the menu should be 'Everyday' items and ≤ 25% should be 'Occasional' items. The proportion of schools meeting the criteria at baseline and follow‐up will be reported per group to determine if changes to the availability of healthier items were made. |
