The distribution of National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) scores at admission (A) and modified Rankin Scale (mRS) scores after discharge from stroke admission (B) are presented in the control and implantable loop recorder (ILR) groups. Wilcoxon rank sum test revealed no difference in NIHSS or mRS, and χ² tests revealed no difference in disabling (mRS ≥3) vs nondisabling strokes or lethal strokes (mRS = 6) vs nonlethal strokes.
