Factors (X), levels, and measured variables (Y) corresponding to the fractional factorial or screening design: formulations were synthesized according to the created design. Independent variables considered were: X₁: the amount of solid lipid (mg); X₂: amount of surfactant (mg); X₃: amount of liquid lipid (μL); X₄: time of sonication (min), and; X₅: sonication power (%). Dependent variables were: Y₁: particle size (nm); Y₂: PDI, and; Y₃: Z-potential (mV).
