MagMASS assay showing competition between licochalcone A and SBP-1 peptide for binding to the SARS-CoV-2 S1 protein. The binding of 10 μM licochalcone A was reduced in the presence of 100 nM SBP-1 indicating that both ligands compete for the orthosteric binding site on the S1 protein.
