(Targeted) Genetic testing may be considered as part of the diagnostic evaluation for index patients with familial or isolated, but otherwise unexplained sinus node dysfunction (SND) or with SND and concomitant atrial fibrillation, cardiac conduction disease (CCD), structural heart disease or with SND and extracardiac disease (syndromal forms), especially in the setting of a positive family history.
