Different dietary peNDF>1.18 (particle size >1.18 mm) contents of 32.97, 29.93, 28.14, 26.48, and 24.75% were obtained by chopping or crusher crushing the forage into the following lengths: long (7 cm), medium (4 cm), short (1 cm), fine (5 mm sieve), very fine (1 mm sieve).
