Each value is expressed as means (triplicate) ± standard deviation (SD). Means followed by the same letter do not differ statistically from each other. Vitamin C (VIT.C): mg 100 g−1 VIT.C; phenolic compounds (CF): mg 100 g−1 GAE; antioxidant activity by ABTS•+ method: µmol g−1 of Trolox equivalent; ORAC antioxidant activity: µmol g−1 Trolox equivalent; antioxidant activity by HOCl sequestration: EC50 µg mL−1; CV (%): coefficient of variation. All data are significant at the 5% probability level (p < 0.05) (one-way ANOVA and Tukey’s test at the 5% level).
