Inhibitory effects of LEE on MnSOD-overexpressing human breast cancer cells. The cells were transfected with pcDNA3-MnSOD, and thereafter treated with LEE. MnSOD-overexpressing cells were evaluated by Western blot analysis. The expression level of (A) MnSOD, CXCR7/4, (B) p-STAT3, STAT3, p-JAK1, JAK1, p-JAK2, and JAK2 were observed. (C) The cell invasion was evaluated by Boyden chamber assay using Nikon Eclipse Ts2 (magnification, 20×) (Nikon Instrument, Tokyo, Japan).
