D-glucose-induced ΔIsc (μA) and transepithelial resistance (TEER) measured on IPEC-J2 cell line incubated 24 h with 0.25 mg/mL (v/v, γ-C/culture medium, γ-C25) and 0.50 mg/mL (v/v, γ-C/culture medium, γ-C50). Results obtained in vitro were confirmed by the ex vivo experiments and compared with the untreated group (UT). Forskolin-induced ΔIsc (ΔIsc-Forsk) was evaluated to test cell viability at the end of the experiment. Data are expressed as mean ± standard errors of the means (n = 3 independent experiments).
