Proposed mechanism for taming GUS activity. After colonization of the GI tract, RP will express GUS repressor (GUSR). This production will be induced by either the intake of arabinogalacturonane prebiotics (AGP) or an arabinose‐rich diet (e.g., apple, beetroot, rice).
