Table 1.
High agreement suggests the reproducibility and presence of TiME features on histopathology
TiME feature | RCM 2-reader agreement (Cohen's kappa) | Histology vs. average 2- reader (Binary) |
---|---|---|
Number of vessels | 0.62 | 0.84 |
Dilated vessel presence | 0.72 | 0.89 |
Trafficking | 0.76 | 0.72 |
Intratumor inflammation | 1.00 | 1.00 |
Peritumor inflammation | NA | 0.97 |
Mucin | 0.93 | 0.74 |
Perivascular inflammation | NA | 1.00 |
Substantial to almost perfect agreement (k = 0.62-1.0) was observed for RCM features in n = 27 BCC lesions between 2-readers, k for peritumor inflammation and perivascular inflammation agreement could not be computed due to 100% prevalence. Good to very good agreement (AC1: 0.74–1.0) was found in the binary analysis between average RCM evaluation and dermatopathologist grading of features.
