The LXC compounds are generally non-toxic at a concentration of 1 × MIC. (A–F) Real-time liver cell viability measurements for HepG2 after treatment with 1 × (pink line) and 2 × (brown line) MIC values. A 2.0% (v/v) DMSO (vehicle control; blue line) and 50 μg/mL ampicillin (green line) were used as controls. Cell viability was measured every 5 min for 24 h at 37°C and 5% CO₂ on a Cytation5^® Cell Imaging Multi-Mode Reader using the RealTime-Glo™ MT Cell Viability Assay reagent. The results are presented in mean ± SEM (hourly SEM data was presented).
