Distribution of cell cycle phases found in untreated or DMSO treated (both controls) and AEB071 (5 and 20 µM) treated BT474, T-47D, HCC1806, and N1 cells grown as COCU, i.e., in the presence of N1 fibroblasts. When incubated in the presence of N1 fibroblasts the sensitivity of ER-positive BT474 and T-47D cells to AEB071 treatment was completely abolished. Only in HCC1806 cells a significant, but very little effect of AEB071 treatment could be seen.
