Southern blot of genomic DNA of T. aromatica strains (type strain K172, strains S100, SP, and LG356) and A. evansii type strain KB740. The DNA was restricted with BamHI and EcoRI. After separation with agarose gel electrophoresis, DNA fragments were blotted onto a nylon membrane and hybridized with a 32P-labeled probe for the 5′-terminal part of the gene of F2.
