  • Unintentional weight loss

  • Malaise and drowsiness

  • Vision impairment

  • Poorly healing purulent skin lesions

  • Urogenital infections

Both sexes:
  • Overweight/obese

  • Low physical activity level

  • Previous diagnosis of pre-diabetes

  • Dyslipidaemia

  • Hypertension

  • Cardiovascular disease

  • Family history of type 1 diabetes mellitus

  • High risk ethnic group for diabetes

Women:
  • History of gestational diabetes

  • Have had a baby with birth weight > 4 kg

  • Polycystic ovary syndrome
