ERK and AKT signaling are key regulators in WEAOR-mediated antiphotoaging activity. Pretreatment of WEAOR to NIH-3T3 cells attenuated phosphorylation of ERK and AKT, but not that of JNK and p38 MAPK. Representative figures of Western blotting are shown (A), and the intensity of each band was estimated using ImageJ. The relative expression rates of ERK (p-ERK/t-ERK), p38 (p-p38/p38), JNK (p-JNK/JNK), and AKT (p-AKT/AKT) were calculated and tabulated (B).
