Macrophages expressing CETP present with reduced unesterified cholesterol content and increased cholesterol efflux. Cholesterol content before and after exposure to oxidized LDL (LDLox) were measured in thioglycolate-elicited peritoneal macrophage (PM, A,B) and in bone marrow derived macrophage (BMDM, D,E).
